Will my order be tracked and insured?

Yes, all orders placed are covered by full tracking and insurance for loss or damage.

How do I unlock free Standard shipping?

Free Standard shipping can be unlocked in one of two different ways:

  • 1) Add $100 or more of any products to your cart. A free shipping option will then appear at checkout.
  • 2) Add one or more of any product from our “Unlock FREE Shipping” category to your cart.

Our Standard shipping rates

If you don’t receive free shipping, our flat-rate Standard shipping rate will be one of two different costs:

  • $4.50; normally when only smaller items are added to cart which are sent as a registered domestic letter with tracking, or a parcel.
  • $7.95; charged for heavier medium-large size items which must be sent as a parcel.

You’ll only pay the lowest shipping rate among the items in your cart. For instance, if two items are in cart and one item is $4.50 shipping, and another is $7.95 shipping, you’ll only pay $4.50 shipping.

Do you offer Express shipping?

Yes! Our express shipping rates vary depending on the items added to cart. To receive your express shipping quote, add the items you require to your cart, head to checkout, then click ‘calculate postage’ to check Express rates.

What’s your handling time?

We aim to ship all items by the same or next business day. However, multiple factors including but not limited to peak order periods or holidays may impact these times. In the unlikely event that there will be a significant (3+ business days) delay in processing your order, we’ll get in contact with you. Express delivery is recommended if your order is urgent.

How long will it take to receive my item?

We primarily ship using Australia Post eParcel, Parcel Post and Domestic Tracked Letter services. Sendle may instead be used for very large orders (heavy large boxes weighing 10-25kg). Delivery is ultimately subject to the time frames stated by these third-party services, which is typically around:

  • 2-7 business days for Standard services
  • 1-3 business days for Express services

Regional zones and areas further from our shipping location may extend these delivery estimates. We ship from Victoria, 3690.
Once your order is dispatched, the delivery times are entirely subject to the carrier’s terms of service.
The above time frames are provided as a guide only, and do not represent a guarantee of delivery date. Factors such as peak holiday periods as well as other factors can impact postal services and delivery carriers. We ask for your general understanding and consideration for these variables when awaiting delivery of your item.

Do you offer local pick-up?

Sorry, we do not offer local pick-up at this stage.

Do you ship to parcel locker addresses?

Yes. However, please ensure your personal address details are current and up-to-date with your local post office through which you operate your parcel locker address prior to placing an order with us. If your order is sent as a letter, your post office will likely forward it to your home address upon receival because parcel lockers are not generally used for letter pick-ups. We endeavour to send appropriate orders as a parcel if we can, however if it is impractical for us to ship an order as a parcel, we will ship your order as a domestic letter with tracking.

In exceptional circumstances, if your order is very heavy or bulky and we cannot ship via Australia Post, we may contact you requesting an alternative delivery address as not all our carriers can deliver to parcel locker addresses. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding a parcel locker address.

How do you package your items? Will they be safe?

At The Card & Trinket, we understand your order is very important to you and needs to arrive safely. We take every reasonable care and precaution to ensure your item is packaged safely so it may arrive to you in brand new, as-described condition. This includes using additional padding, packaging or bubble wrap to protect vulnerable or fragile freight.

What if my item arrived damaged, or it gets lost in transit?

If your order arrived to you damaged, or you suspect your item may have been lost in transit, please get in contact with us through our contact page and quote your order number and we will be happy to assist you.


How do I return an item?

Returns can be requested through our contact page. Please provide your order number as well as the list of items you wish to return. Buyers are responsible for return shipping fees and charges. We can guarantee refunds for goods returned in unopened, undamaged condition purchased within the last 30 days of receipt.

What gets refunded?

We can refund the original order value of the portion of goods returned to us in unused, undamaged condition. Shipping, if paid, is not included in any return refunds and is considered a non-refundable portion of the order total.
